SoundBite Medical Solutions Inc. is developing proprietary shockwave technology to address significant unmet clinical needs in interventional vascular treatment. Through an elegant combination of hardware and software, it can, in a very controllable manner, deliver high amplitude shock wave pulses through guidewires and other interventional tools, to specifically attack highly calcified and fibrotic tissue in the vascular system, while leaving healthy, elastic arterial walls unharmed.

The Manufacturing Operator’s primary responsibility will be to assemble medal devices in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assembles products according to approved standard operating procedures.
  • Works at different workstations as production requires.
  • Conducts quality inspection of own or other’s work.
  • Follows all safety and production standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to follow procedures and execute them effectively.
  • May perform assembly of custom products using little or no documentation.
  • Maintains clean and orderly workstation.
  • Accurately records and completes all manufacturing documentation.
  • Identifies production problems and their causes.
  • Suggests methods for improvement.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements: 

  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others;
  • Proficiency with hand tools;
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods;
  • Good manual dexterity;
  • Meticulous, flexible, and efficient;
  • Keen eyesight to manipulate small components with jewel-like precision;
  • Resourceful;
  • Bilingual (French and English);
  • Ability to read technical documentation associated with production;
  • Ability to use microscope to perform assembly and/or inspection process;
  • Ability to use and read measuring devices;
  • Ability to follow complex instructions;
  • Understands the importance of regulatory (GMP, ISO) requirements.

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED, DEC III in Engineering Technologies preferred

         This is a 6-month contractual mandate with possibility of renewal.
